HabitatPlanPro ("we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-powered habitat planning platform for landowners and wildlife managers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and services.

We collect the following categories of information: Account information: Your email address, provided when you sign in via magic link. We do not store passwords. Property information: Address, acreage, land state, goals, and other details you enter during the habitat scan and questionnaire. GIS and environmental data: We query publicly available data sources on your behalf — including USDA SSURGO soil data, USGS elevation data, NHD hydrological data, NLCD land cover, PAD-US public land boundaries, and Mapbox road data — using the coordinates derived from your property address. Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of access.

We use your information to: - Generate your Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) score and habitat plan - Save and restore your scan results across sessions - Send you a magic link to access your account - Improve our scoring models and service accuracy - Communicate with you about your plan, updates, and relevant features We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

To deliver our service, we share data with the following third parties: - Supabase — authentication and database hosting (your email and property data) - Mapbox — geocoding and road density queries (property coordinates) - USDA / USGS / NHD / NLCD / PAD-US — publicly operated GIS APIs (property coordinates) - Anthropic — AI language model powering the Strategic Brain (property context, goals, and scan results) All third-party services are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. We do not share your name or email with GIS data providers.

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. GIS query results are retained to avoid redundant API calls and improve performance; they contain no personally identifiable information.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and magic link authentication that eliminates stored passwords. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a private email address and to log out when using shared devices.

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
